Seeking Female Vocalist

Hello, I am a 49yo singer-song writer guitarist. I'm putting a band together here in the Mahurangi area (north Auckland, Warkworth area) and looking for a great female vocalist to compliment my songs and vocal style. I alrewady have the otehr band mambers lined up, you would be the missing ingredient.

This is a really a studio project at the moment, but may turn into a live act, it's early days. The imortant thing at this stage is to get my songs recorded and released using as much live instrumentation as possible. Currently they are mostly electronic compositions.

If you live in the local area then great! We can jam and record together, this would be ideal. If you live elsewhere in the country, but are a great fit then maybe we could work together virtually. IN this case however you would need some way to record your self, at least to a good demo standard. 

Other desirable skills and talents would be writing lyrics [I currently have melodies but mostly placeholder lyrics] and any other instrumentation abilities would be great.

Influences are Portishead, the Kills, Charlotte Gainsbourg, the xx, Radiohead, yo la tengo, massive attack, Trentemoller, Lera Lynn, fever ray, tricky, the Handsome Family, Sharon Von etten. Definitely a melancholic vibe! It's a bit Trip-Hop meets Country I suppose you could say.
