Indie, Post Rock, Musicians Wanted - Tauranga

Like minded musicians wanted in Tauranga.

Crazy Moog, or synth nut required.  The ability to compose would be an advantage - but you would have the chance to create your line before the rehearsal.

Into Sparklehorse.  Fugazi.  Radiohead.  Using Pro Tools.  Accumulating too much gear.

Plenty of original material to flesh out..

Material is varied - but would be mostly groove-riff related melodic tunes.

Songs usually 'go large' at some point.

The songs/ideas would be sent out for parts to be composed/rehearsed at home - rather than spending hours in the reheaersal space.

Must have own gear - although there is a drum kit and bass rig in the studio space ready to go.  So no lugging gear - bonus.

Rehearsals would involve having a laugh, volume, good songs, creating, jamming, knowing the material and a beer or two.  Once up and running, gigging wherever we can hustle a gig.

Compositions welcome and encouraged. Very much into individual creative input becoming more than the sum of its parts.
