A Bit About Me

My musical journey began in New Orleans, where I first picked up jazz guitar and piano at age 12. That rich musical environment shaped my approach to teaching and playing – there's nothing quite like learning music in a city where it flows through every street corner!

Over the past decade, I've taught music across Australia and New Zealand, working with students of all ages and skill levels. My path has taken me through various musical landscapes – from playing in jazz ensembles to rocking out in metal bands. As a self-taught bass player, I understand the dedication and joy of mastering a new instrument.

My love for technology and sound led me to study music technology, where I developed expertise in audio production, engineering, and sound design. This blend of traditional musicianship and technical knowledge allows me to offer my students and clients a unique perspective, bridging the gap between playing music and producing it.

I work across many genres (Jazz, Rock, Pop, Blues, Electronic, Hip-hop, Alternative) and love helping people discover their own sound.
