Christian Bassist Needed - Wellington

Are you a dedicated and passionate Christian bassist with a heart for worship and a love for Country and Rock music? Our Wellington-based band is seeking a skilled and experienced bassist to join us as we create original music and share the Gospel through song.

We're looking for someone who:

• Loves Jesus: Is a committed Christian with a strong, Protestant faith background (not Catholic, Seventh Day Adventist, Jehovah's Witness or Mormon) and a desire to use their musical gifts for God's glory.
• Has the Chops: Is an experienced bassist proficient in both live performance and studio recording, with a solid understanding of music theory and a good ear for harmonies.
• Is Gear Up: Owns their own quality bass guitar, amplifier, and any necessary effects pedals.
• Is Reliable: Has reliable transport to rehearsals in Tawa, Wellington twice a week and is committed to attending gigs and practices consistently.
• Is a Team Player: Is enthusiastic about collaborating on original songs and arrangements, and is willing to learn covers (CCM and hymns) quickly.
• (Bonus!) Can Sing: Ability to provide backing vocals is a plus!

Our Influences: Zach Williams, Third Day, 7th Day Slumber, Linkin Park, Staind, Luke Combs. We aim for a high-energy, faith-filled sound that blends country roots with a rock edge.
