Hi upcoming guitar player!

Playing the guitar is one of the best things you can learn to do.  It'll give you hours of fun and it's great for your confidence too. Yes, it's not easy at the start. Yes, your fingers will hurt. Yes, it can be frustrating until you get some chords worked out.

BUT!!  It is also a skill that you can take with you forever, one that you'll never forget (yeah like riding a bike!), one that you'll always find new and fun things to try with, plus one that will of course impress your friends once you've mastered a few of the basics.

I've been playing 40 years. I'm not a crazy guitar/music weirdo, or someone who is so into their own @#$! that they don't have time or patience to listen and provide you with great feedback.  I am a good teacher. I had a few students while I was living in Vancouver, 2018-2021.  It was fun and hence I'm going to try it here (I'm a Kiwi, but lived various places overseas).

I'm happy to meet and chat about what you want to learn. I'm honest and will tell you if I can help, or not. I'm not into time wasting or taking your money for no return.  I hope that you get as much fun out of playing guitar as I do!
