Hi there, we are looking for an acoustic guitarist to join our Irish traditional group. We are currently a duo, fiddle and piano, playing jigs and reels, just instrumentals. We love The Gloaming's take on the old stuff. An interest/knowledge in Irish trad would be great but not essential. If you can play anything else in the tradisphere - viola, fiddle, accordian, banjo, mandolin, piano - That would be a bonus. This may not be for you, but if you know of someone point them our way.
We jam every couple of weeks, fairly casual but building a repertoire with a view to gigging.
